The Mammoth Lakes Basin, Reds Meadow Valley, and Tioga Pass are all open! That means all our favorite summer destinations are ready to welcome you. Take E-Bikes up to the Lakes Basin, hike to Rainbow Falls, or picnic in iconic Tuolumne Meadows — or find a completely new adventure to inspire you. Shoulder season is officially over, so start planning your stay today to lock in an unreal summer vacation.
Please note that Reds Meadow Road to Devil’s Postpile will be closed for repairs Monday through Thursday through the summer. We encourage you to enjoy Reds Meadow Valley while road access is available Friday through Sunday. THE BEST OF SUMMER
Adventures abound in Mammoth Lakes in the summer. The time to plan is now to plan for fishing, hiking, biking, backpacking, golfing and more in the mountains.
SUMMER AIR SERVICE
Skip summer traffic and see the Sierra Nevada from the air. Located just 12 minutes from town, Mammoth Yosemite Airport in Mammoth Lakes (MMH) is the quickest option for getting from Southern California to the slopes. Fly from Los Angeles (HHR) or Carlsbad (CLD) directly into Mammoth Lakes.
Summer service will operate on Fridays and Sundays from June 28th through September 2 (Labor Day). There will be additional flights from Carlsbad and LA on Wednesday, July 3rd for the holiday. All dates and schedules subject to change without notice.
United Airline flights between Bishop (BIH) and San Francisco (SFO) will begin July 1.
