Chamber Names Interim Director During President’s Maternity Leave

Mammoth Lakes, CA – The Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce has named David Mason  Eichman as Interim Director while President & CEO Brianna Goico is on maternity leave from  April 12 through July 2025.

“David has a wealth of experience and knowledge of the Chamber of Commerce industry,” states  President & CEO, Brianna Goico. “I am confident in his leadership during my brief absence.” 

David brings decades of leadership, legal expertise, and community service to the role. A  graduate of Dartmouth College and Northwestern University School of Law, David began his  career at a major law firm before launching his own practice focused on real estate, business  formation, and contracts. He served as Chair of the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce,  served on its Board of Directors for many years, and remains on its honorary Board of Governors.  He also spent 27 years on the West Hollywood Transportation & Mobility Commission and has  held leadership roles in several alumni and LGBTQ+ organizations.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with the Chamber team to keep things moving forward  while Brianna is away,” said David. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute.” 

David lives with his husband, Richard Mehlman, and their dog, Ali, in the Laurel Canyon area of  Los Angeles. Since 2020, they’ve spent a significant amount of time in Mammoth Lakes, where  they have a second home. Over the years, David has established meaningful relationships  throughout the community and has often attended Chamber events. David can often be seen  walking Ali through Shady Rest Park or along the Mammoth Rock Trail.

He will begin working at the Chamber on Monday April 7, 2025.
