Mammoth Lakes Special Event Funding Now Available
Mammoth Lakes Tourism provides marketing funding for special events in Mammoth Lakes, with special consideration to large events happening during shoulder seasons. The funding application closes tomorrow, January 31 for events happening in 2023.
IRS Winter Storm Tax Relief
Victims of severe winter storms, flooding, and mudslides in California beginning January 8, 2023, now have until May 15, 2023, to file various individual and business tax returns and make tax payments, the Internal Revenue Service announced today.

Yosemite Visitor Access Management Plan
The National Park Service is in the early stages of developing a plan to provide sustainable access, high-quality recreation experiences, visitor safety, and resource protection. This includes addressing congestion, managing crowding, and preventing damage to resources within the park.

This year’s California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) application period is underway and the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) has up to $85 million in tax credits available to award businesses that want to locate in California or stay and grow in the state.
