JV Boys: Lone Pine 56 – Boron 32
Anthony Guerra – 15 points
Noah Quezada – 10 points
Tommy Fogerty – 10 points 15 rebounds
Fransisco Castro – 8 rebounds 6 steals
The boys played an excellent game. We had 7 of the 8 players score 4 points or more. Tommy Fogerty again controlled the boards and Fransisco Castro was all over the place on defense. It was a complete team effort. With every game we get better and it is so much fun to watch everyone improve!
Varsity Boys: Lone Pine 74 – Boron 40
Cristian Duran – 23 he was 9/10 from free throws
Dev Bhakta – 18 hit 6 3-pointers
Elijah Rodriguez – 12 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals
Alfonso Castro – 8 points, 6 assist, 4 steals
We were running full speed from the opening tip and everything was falling. Dev Bhakta hit 6 three’s and freshman Cristian Duran continues to play like an upperclassman. I continually say it, but these guys give 110% the entire game and it seems like they can play another 4 quarters after the game is over. They have a love of the game which is so fun to coach. I am very excited about this season.
