Laughing Parrot Productions, a film production company, is thrilled to announce the successful completion of its first-ever film school in collaboration with Healthy Communities of Southern Inyo County. The four-day intensive program proved to be a transformative experience for 13 aspiring filmmakers who delved into the world of cinema.
Throughout the duration of the program, participants were immersed in various aspects of filmmaking, including script writing, lighting techniques, operating cinema cameras, and basic editing.
Under the guidance of mentors from Laughing Parrot Productions, the students gained practical experience as they operated cameras and sound equipment to bring their creative visions to life. The enthusiasm and dedication exhibited by the students were commendable, particularly as they embarked on their first-ever filmmaking journey.
The film school owes its success not only to the students’ commitment but also to the generous support of local businesses that lent a helping hand in making this initiative possible.
