LADWP Joins as Major Sponsor of Mammoth Lakes Community Recreation Center
We are excited to announce that LADWP has become a major sponsor of the Town of Mammoth’s recently opened Community Recreation Center (CRC). LADWP joins Mammoth Disposal and Snowcreek Resort with a three-year sponsorship term, as one of the major sponsors for the Town’s new expansive, year-round CRC. LADWP shares the Town’s vision of supporting high quality, affordable, and innovative programs and activities that promote “healthy and active” lifestyles for all ages, to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors. This partnership strengthens the possibly of reinforcing future recreational opportunities for the community.
As a member of the Eastern Sierra community, LADWP is dedicated to giving back to the region through economic development, community investments, and focusing on environmental stewardship. Over the last several decades, LADWP increasingly grew our partnership with almost 100 organizations annually in Inyo and Mono counties by supporting their events, community programs, educational activities, and workforce development opportunities.

I’m not sure this is the best of all possible partnerships for Mammoth Lakes. It was already questionable to plaster Los Angeles all over the building that’s supposed to be the public hub of our community. This new move seems like inviting the fox into the henhouse!
