Inyo National Forest is hiring more firefighters
Positions include new jobs in fuels management
BISHOP, Calif., June 26, 2023 – Inyo Forest Service is hiring 23 positions across the forest in wildland fire, fuels and aviation management starting today on USA Jobs and closing on July 5.
“In addition to our normal hiring efforts in fire and aviation, we will be adding eleven new positions just in fuels management this year,” said Larry Pingel, Chief of Fire and Aviation for Inyo National Forest. “This is a result of the new federal infrastructure bill to increase pace and scale of fuels reduction efforts on national forests.”
