It’s that time of year once again…the ICA Holiday Gallery Show is up now! Come check out the great local art, and do some of your holiday shopping while you’re at it.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bishop is having its annual Christmas Craft Fair from 8am-2pm on Saturday, December 3. There will be new vendors participating with a wide variety of handcrafted items. There will be a raffle and silent auction with items donated by local merchants and the crafters themselves. Lunch will be available.

Bishop Christmas Parade

This year’s theme is “Christmas Movies.” Everyone is encouraged to decorate floats to honor your favorite Christmas classics and characters. Just before the parade, Bishop Rotary Clubs will host the annual Santa Mile fun run. Immediately after the parade, there will be a Tree Lighting Ceremony in front of the Bishop City Park. There is a brand-new baby Oregon Green Austrian Pine that has been recently planted and everyone is invited to welcome this beautiful new addition to the park.

Many merchants will stay open after the parade and the Eastside Guesthouse will host their 3rd Annual Christmas Mart from 5-8pm with refreshments and several local vendors.

Big Pine Christmas Tree Lighting

The Big Pine Civic Club and Big Pine Volunteer Fire Department are teaming up once again this year to bring the Big Pine community a Christmas tree lighting starting at 5pm on Sunday, December 4th. Special guest appearance by Santa Claus and singing by the High Sierra Chorus. The Big Pine Fire Department will be helping Santa with the children’s stockings and the Civic Club will provide the refreshments.

Laws Railroad Museum & Historical Site

On Saturday, December 10th, Railroad Express will return to Laws Railroad Museum & Historical Site! From 10am until 3pm, families will enjoy holiday crafts & activities, train rides, Smokey Bear, Santa Claus, wagon rides and refreshments. Admission is $20 for those over 12 years old; $15 for ages 3 through 12; and free for kids under 3.

Buy tickets now online via Eventbrite – early bird pricing will end on December 8th.
