Join Us In Welcoming Our New Staff Member Jimmy Capangpangan
Jimmy is our new Director’s Assistant and is excited about getting to work with the community.
Jimmy first arrived to the Eastern Sierra as a climber in 2014 and instantly fell in love with Bishop. He has worked as a Ranger for the National Park Service, a Climbing Ranger for Bishop, and most recently a freelance writer.
His love for the arts first came through his love for reading and writing at a young age. As a youth, he started to dive into music and was a vocalist and guitar player in a punk band. Music continues to be a major part of his life always keeping an ear for new sounds and an eye for touring artists.
Jimmy is excited to meet the community that ICA has built over the years and help to grow it. As part of the ICA team, he strives to give back to our area by supporting and promoting the arts in Inyo County.

The Spirit of The Great Basin Through Fiber Art
By Roberta Lagomarsini
In this celebration of the Great Basin through fiber art works of explosive color, varied perspectives and abstraction, Fiber Artist Roberta Lagomarsini presents work exploring the landscapes, peoples and the mystique of the region.
Roberta hopes “to tell the stories of the Great Basin by using my own unique point of view but in a way that invites the viewer to study the work from different viewpoints, inserting their own perspectives and memories into the quilt which completes the quilt.”
For more information, visit C5 Studios website here.
