ICE Out for Good rallies

ice

Folks throughout the Eastern Sierra will gather peacefully on sidewalks this weekend in response to the shooting of Renee Good and others by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents.

In the last four months alone, ICE agents have fired on at least nine people, killing at least two. In 2025, at least 32 people died while in the custody of ICE. Our cities have been invaded by an army of hastily hired, poorly trained, often covert agents operating far outside their legal authority. Our own government is now literally killing us–and lying about it. This must end!

  • Bishop’s event will be on the sidewalk Saturday, January 10, at 12:30 in front of Bishop City Park.
  • In Lone Pine, folks will gather at noon Sunday, January 11, on the sidewalk in front of Spainhower Park
  • Details aren’t available yet for Mammoth Lakes, but check back at the Instagram account for Coalition Mammoth.

As always, these rallies will be peaceful, non-violent and lawful. Please refer to INYO350’s Commitment to Non-Violence.

  • This will be a silent vigil mourning those who have suffered at the hands of ICE. If you can, please wear black or a black armband.
  • Please bring a sign specific to this event or come early to make one.

I’m sorry to see that you’ve decided to be overly political.

Hi Doug. Thanks for the comment. This event information was sent to us by the organizer, so we posted it as we do all submitted event notices. We’re not being political, we’re just sharing the news.
