Our radical environment can make opening trails a challenge. Snow, rockfall, erosion, trees, etc. are all part of the equation when it comes to getting your favorite chunk of single track open. Downed trees are the culprit to this week’s trail openings, but the good news is that the trees have been cut and moved out of the way so we can safely open 7-Bridges, Bullet, and DC-10, which was rebuilt last season after erosion washed out a large section of the trail.
Please note: Richter will be closed intermittently for construction but Stump Alley Express is now open Fri-Sun through Labor Day weekend.
