Winter is here and we are thrilled that 95 percent of Mammoth Mountain is already open thanks to Mother Nature providing a big early season storm. More snow is currently forecasted to start this Thursday, December 12th, continuing through the weekend, adding to the incredible conditions.
For those with their heart set on Nordic Skiing and snowshoeing, you’ll be excited to know Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center is open as well—those unreal Lakes Basin views never disappoint while exploring the 19+ miles of groomed trails. Mammoth Lakes has all the makings for a perfect holiday trip with plenty of festive events and stunning snowy landscapes ready for your powder filled adventures.
