Hello Pride Friends!
It’s almost time to start planning Pride Festival 2023 and before we do we’d love your feedback about our inaugural Pride Festival back in June. Please complete this brief survey and help us make Pride Festival 2023 even better!
COMMUNITY MEETUPS
We’re back at Mammoth Brewing Company this Wednesday the 14th, 6-9pm. Our reserved area has moved again, we’ll now be meeting outside! We hope to see you there.
MAMMOTH TRAILFEST ENTRY COMPETITION
We’re excited to share that we have three free entries to give away for the Mammoth Trailfest races on Sept 22-25! To enter you must be following Eastern Sierra Pride then like/share/and comment on our social post announcing the competition. The winners will be drawn on Friday Sept 16th. Good luck and we hope to see you at the Trailfest!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We’ll also be tabling at Mammoth Trailfest and need your help to staff our table. Come spend some time talking about Eastern Sierra Pride, selling merch, and hearing how much the Eastern Sierra community is so glad we’re here!
Times needed are:
- Friday, Sept. 23: Noon – 7pm
- Saturday, Sept. 24: Noon – 7pm

COMMITTEES – GET INVOLVED!
We know many of you are patiently waiting to learn how you can get involved in Eastern Sierra Pride. And your patience has paid off! We’re ready to start forming a couple of Committees, specifically:
- Outing Committee (already being formed by Rebecca Kamala Roebig) – will focus on organizing outings such as hikes, kayaking, snowshoeing, etc.
- Events Committee – will focus on organizing events such as Community Meetups, bowling get togethers, etc. So many options!
- Pride Festival 2023 Committee – you guessed it, will plan everything Pride Fest 2023 related.
- Environmental Committee – will address environmental issues affecting us in the Eastern Sierra.
- Bookclub Committee – There’s so much amazing LGBTQIA2SP+ literature out there. Let’s get together and pick some books to read and then meet back to discuss!
If you’re interested in checking out one of these committees to see how you can help Eastern Sierra Pride take off to its next phase, just reply to this email and let us know which committee you’re interested in. Then we’ll schedule a committee meeting and start the conversation!
