Eastern Sierra Avalanche Center: Volunteers Needed for Upcoming Events

Hi Volunteers,

Thank you to all of the Kickoff Volunteers! We had an incredible evening with the community and are looking forward to more events this winter. And maybe a little snow in the forecast, we hope.

Avalanche Awareness Evenings

We have our monthly avalanche awareness evenings scheduled and are looking for 2 volunteers for each event. You’ll be helping sell raffle tickets and merchandise, along with getting people excited for the evening!

Tuesday, January 6 – Mountain Rambler Brewey, Bishop
Tuesday, February 3 – TBar, June Lake
Wednesday, March 4 – Mammoth Brewing, Mammoth

Save the Dates: Arc’Teryx Academy

February 20-22, 2026

This is the second year this event comes to Mammoth! We will have a vendor tent in the village over the weekend, with plans to sell beer and merchandise and share info about ESAC. They are still working out timing for the vendor village – once we have shifts ready, we will reach out for volunteers!
