About the Sierra Charging Network
The Sierra Charging Network aims to increase EV charging access in rural and underserved communities throughout California. Funded by the California Energy Commission, the program supports planning, deployment, and community partnerships that accelerate EV infrastructure development.
About CSEDD
The Central Sierra Economic Development District serves Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Tuolumne and Mariposa counties by driving economic development, infrastructure planning, and community resilience. CSEDD also participates in broader initiatives and grant-funded projects that extend beyond its core service area to support economic development outcomes.
Capacity to secure this regional investment was made possible by Sector Navigation funding provided through Sierra Jobs First, a regional initiative working toward high-quality job growth, climate resilience, and economic prosperity across the Sierra region. Sierra Business Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, serves as the regional convener and fiscal agent for the Sierra Jobs First initiative.
