Bishop Broncos Varsity Softball Loses 3-0 to Boron in Great Defensive Game
Bishop traveled to boron on 5/9 and lost 3 to 0 in a great defensive game.
Baileigh Momberg pitched the entire game allowing 3 runs on 3 hits, 2 walks and 1 error. Striking out 7. key defensive plays made by Riley Vannest, Dani Garcia, Katya Fierro and Jayda Jackson to keep the game in reach.
Offensively:

Katya Fierro had a double, stole a base
Jayda Jackson walked once
Riley Vannest reached 1st on an error and stole a base
In the top of the 7th bishop had 2 runners on base with 2 outs before grounding out to end the game. Coach Lisa manuelito said it was the best game we played all year as a team even though we lost. Very proud of the team.
