Bishop Broncos Varsity Softball Defeats Mammoth 22-2 at Home
Bishop Varsity Softball hosted Mammoth at the Bishop City Park Tuesday 4/2 and came away with a win 22 to 2.
Baileigh Momberg started on the mound pitching 2 innings, facing 7 batters, giving up no runs, no hits, walking 2, striking out 4.
Sienna Fuller came in, in the 3rd for 2 innings, facing 6 batters, allowing 1 hit, 2 strike outs and a nice double play by 3rd baseman Kristin Sorensen.
Riley Vannest came in in the 5th, finishing the game giving up 2 runs on 3 hits, 1 walk and 2 strikeouts.
Offensively:
Katya Fierro went 2 for 2 with 1 walk, 1 stolen base and 2 runs scored
Ginger Lowden was 1 for 1 with 1 walk, 1 RBI and 1 run scored
Baileigh Momberg walked once and 3 runs scored.
Shea Ludwick 1 hit by pitch and 1 run scored.
Riley Vannest was 1 for 2, with 1 RBI, and 2 runs scored
Braydee Momberg had 2 RBIs, 1 stolen base and 1 run scored.
Tannyr Ludwick was 1 for 1, 1 walk, 1 RBI and 1 run scored
Faye Spoonhunter was 1 for 3, 1 Hit by pitch, 1 RBI, 1 stolen base and 2 runs scored.
Dani Garcia was 2 for 4, 1 double with 3 RBIs, 2 runs scored
Cambrie Lanphear was 1 for 2 a Homerun, 2 RBIs and 1 run scored
Crystal Morales had 1 run scored
Sienna Fuller was 1 for 1 a triple, 1 walk, 3 hit by pitch, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored
Kris Sorensen walked twice, 1 hit by pitch and 2 runs scored.
All 13 players scored at least once in the game.
The team is playing solid defense to back up our pitchers.
