Bishop Broncos JV Boys Basketball Fall 58-21 to Strong Kern Valley Team

The Bishop JV boys basketball team ran into a very strong Kern Valley team Tuesday afternoon and fell 58-21. Leading the way for the Bishop Broncos was Jacob Jenkins with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Daniel Alvarado added 5 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals. Tristan Charley added 3 points, Trey Safarak had 2, Marcus Manulito had 2 and Waylen Mairs added 1 point.

We’ve got a very young team with 10 freshman. As the season goes along and the team gains experience, I think we’ll put on a lot stronger performance against some of these better teams.
