Social Spotlight, Endurance Season is Here!

September is the start of Endurance Season in Mammoth Lakes. Local and visiting athletes are ready to push their limits in events that explore our high-altitude terrain and climate, hoping for a chance to be dubbed king or queen of the mountains for a day. Many of these events require road closures near The Village to enhance the events’ safety. First up this weekend is the  Mammoth Gran Fondo, which takes place Saturday, Sept. 6. Please note that Canyon Blvd between Lake Mary Road and Hillside Drive will be closed from 5:00am to 8:00pm that day. Additionally, between 8:00-9:30am, vehicles will be restricted from accessing the Scenic Loop entering from Minaret Road and US HWY 395 to allow riders from the Piccolo and Media to safely use the roadway.
