Bishop Broncos Girls Soccer Defeats Cal City 5-0
On Saturday, January 21, 2023 the Bishop Lady Broncos traveled to play the California City Ravens in California City. Alyssa Buchholz started the charge by putting the ball in the back of the net when she received a pass from Brooklyn Braaten. Ellie Crall scored the second goal of the first half from a pass from Kenia Gonzalez. First half ended with a score of 2 to 0.
In the second half, Ellie Crall put the ball in the back of the net off of a corner kick from JuliAnna Jackson. Jillian Veenker put the ball in from a throwing and JuliAnna Jackson scored the third goal of the second period from a pass from Ellie Crall.
The game ended with the Broncos 5 and Cal City 0.
The Bishop lady Broncos are currently first in league. Bishop Lady Broncos have played eight league games and have scored a total of 61 goals and allowed only one goal find the back of their net.
The lady Broncos would like to thank the Cal City Ravens for their hospitality and friendly play.
The Lady Broncos next game will be this Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the John Schwab field where they will play the Mammoth Huskies at 5 o’clock
