Whether you wanted to sunbathe and read by the pond, give your kids opportunities to craft, enjoy live music and silks performances, learn about local community efforts to protect and preserve the Sierra, have some delicious food, or spend a little time perusing and shopping eccentric creators from all over the Eastside – it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day to do it.
The weather was incredible and spirits were high as everyone gathered together to share in the joy of the world we find ourselves rocketing through space on.
Food vendors like The Rolling Chef 395, Rosa’s Food, and Sierra Ice, were ready to serve up some scrumptious goodies to sate that walking-all-afternoon hunger and refreshing beverages to keep you cool.

Live music and silks acrobatic performances brought life in motion to the buzzing crowds, giving everyone an excuse to slow down, take a seat, and enjoy the creativity we’re surrounded by.

All sorts of vendors, many of which also sell through Etsy, made sure to strike a colorful presence. There was a great variety of options be it clothing, jewelry, kitchen garb, or succulents, to bring excitement to your wardrobe and home.

Local organizations and politicians struck a welcome balance between friendship and professional passions.
Eastern Sierra Land Trust selling and sharing educational resources, District 2 Board Supervisor Jeff Griffiths speaking on goals for us all, Inyo 350 handing out sunflower seed packets of many varieties and edifying everyone about an enduring vision for our planet, Lone Tree Candle Company bringing fresh scents to your home, and numerous custom jewelry vendors like Chrissie’s Crafts or Art by Izabelle, were just some of the heartwarming offerings.

If you didn’t have a chance to make it out I encourage you to check the photos and video below to get a sense of just how strong and diverse our community here on the Eastside truly is and learn about some of the businesses, chefs, and creators all around us.
Happy Earth Day, everyone!
