Having Trouble Staying Motivated in the Winter?
Do YOU struggle to stay motivated in the winter! I know I do! The months can drag on, the weather can be cold and dreary, and it can be tough to stay motivated. I thrive off of vitamin D and sunshine and when it’s cloudy, cold and even sometimes snowy, that can wear on a girl!
Here are my top 7 tips for staying motivated all winter long!
- Move your body EVERY DAY. Natural endorphins will be released and make you feel good!
- Get a workout buddy, either virtually or in person. Ask your friend to come workout with you or login to Zoom to push play and get in a workout together!
- Get outside for at least 20 minutes a day. Bundle up, take a walk or sit on the porch. Any bit of sunlight helps!
- Listen to a motivational podcast that will fire you up! I love me some Rachel Hollis!
- Experiment in the kitchen! Being inside during the winter is a great time to try some new healthy recipes and try healthier versions of comfort food!
- Get your water intake in daily.
- Get 7-8 hours of sleep a night.
