Wyman Canyon Road is now partially reopen

BISHOP, Calif., October 20, 2023 — Inyo National Forest staff have evaluated the condition of Wyman Canyon Road and have determined it safe to partially reopen it from the western entrance from the Silver Canyon Road intersection and continuing approximately five miles to the east.

The revised closure will now start at Water Canyon (37.436736°, -118.106847°) and continue east approximately ten miles until the forest boundary, located just before White Mountain City and Highway 168.
