Mono Lake Ranger District:

 

Roads closed: Ebbetts Pass (Hwy 4), Sonora Pass (Hwy 108), Monitor Pass (Hwy 89), Bodie Rd. (Hwy 270), Tioga Pass (120 E, 3.5 mi west of Hwy395), Saddlebag Rd., Hwy 120 E (Benton) 1.7 miles east of Hwy 395 to 7 miles west of Hwy 6, June Lake (Hwy 158) from 3.5 miles north of June Lake Village to the north junction of Hwy 395.

 

Roads open: Lundy Lake Rd (not plowed after lower gate), Hwy 120 W 3.5 miles west of Hwy 395, Hwy 120 E (Benton) 1.7  miles east of Hwy 395 and 7 miles west of Hwy 6, Lundy Canyon Rd. to the lower gate (not plowed after gate), Hwy 158 from south junction @ Hwy 395 to 3.5 miles north of June Lake Village.

 

Campgrounds closed: Lundy Canyon (county),Tioga Lake, Junction, Ellery Lake, Big Bend, Saddlebag Lake TrailheadSaddlebag Lake, Sawmill Walk-in, Moraine, Aspen, Lower Lee Vining, Aerie Crag, Reversed Creek, Gull Lake, Silver Lake, June Lake, Oh Ridge,  Hartley, Obsidian Flat Group, Glass Creek, Upper Deadman, Lower Deadman, Big Springs.

The Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center is closed for the season.

Mammoth Ranger District

Roads open: Mammoth Scenic Loop.
Roads closed: Hwy. 203 (continuing to the Reds Meadow Rd.) at Mammoth Mountain Inn, Old Mammoth Rd. to Lake Basin Rd., Lakes Basin Rd.

Campgrounds open: Mammoth Mtn. RV Park.

Campgrounds closed: Crowley (BLM), Old Shady, New Shady Rest, Sherwin Creek, Pine Glen, Twin Lakes, Pine City, Lake Mary, Lake George, Coldwater, Reds Meadow, Agnew Meadows Family, Agnew Meadows Horse, Agnew Meadows Group Pumice Flat, Pumice Flat Group, Minaret Falls, Upper Soda.

The Devils Postpile Ranger Station is closed for the season.

ESIA is operating the bookstore at the Mammoth Lakes Welcome Center,  Thursday-Sunday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

White Mountain Ranger District

Road closed: Rock Creek @ the Sno Park, North Lake Rd., Hwy 168 after Aspendell,  South Lake Rd. after Bishop Creek Resort, Glacier Rd. (Big Pine Creek) at upper parking lot.

Roads open: McGee Creek Rd. (not plowed after county park), Rock Creek Rd. to the Sno Park, Pine Creek, Buttermilk Rd., Hwy 168 to Aspendell, South Lake Rd. to Bishop Creek Resort, White Mountain Rd. (not maintained in winter, travel at own risk), Silver Canyon Rd. (4×4-high clearance, snow), Wyman Canyon Rd. (4×4-high clearance, snow), Big Pine Canyon to upper lot (not maintained in winter, travel at own risk).

 

Campgrounds open: Pleasant Valley (County), Pleasant Valley Pit (BLM, no water), Grandview (winter ops, no services, no fees), Bitterbrush (winter ops), Baker Creek (County), Taboose Creek (County), Tinnemaha Creek (County), Goodale (BLM, no water).

Campgrounds closed: Convict Lake, French Camp, Tuff, Rock Creek, Mosquito Flat Backpacker, Rock Creek Group, Upper Pine Grove, Pine Grove, East Fork, Palisade Group, Aspen Group, Big Meadow, Iris Meadow, Holiday, McGee Creek, Horton (BLM), North Lake, Sabrina, Willow, Bishop Park, Bishop Park Group, Big Trees, Mountain Glen, Table Mountain Group, Intake 2, Forks, Four Jeffrey, Cedar Flat Group, Big Pine Creek, Upper Sage Flat, Lower Sage Flat, Clyde Glacier Group, Palisade Glacier Group.

The Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest Visitor Center is closed for the season.

The White Mountain Public Lands Information Center in Bishop: virtual services, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, closed for lunch noon to 1:00 pm, closed Dec. 21-31.

Mt Whitney Ranger District

Road closed: Onion Valley Rd., Whitney Portal Rd. at lower gate, Horseshoe Meadow at the lower gate.

Roads open: Foothill Road, Division Creek.

Campgrounds open: Lower Grays Meadow (winter ops), Independence Creek (county), Tuttle Creek (BLM, no water, dump station closed), Portuguese Joe (county), Lone Pine (winter ops), Diaz Lake (County), Kennedy Meadows with no services (no toilets, no water, no trash cans, no fee).

Campgrounds closed: Upper Grays Meadow, Onion Valley, Whitney Portal, Whitney Portal Trailhead Campground, Whitney Portal Group, Cottonwood Lakes, Cottonwood Pass, Horseshoe Meadows Equestrian.

The Eastern Sierra Visitor Center in Lone Pine: Open daily, 8:00 am to 4:30 am. ESIA will operate the bookstore daily, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Closed federal holidays.

The Inyo National Forest is not in fire restrictions.
