Hi Conservation Hero,

As we look toward the horizon of a new year, we’re doing more than just reflecting on the past—we are looking a full decade ahead.

The Eastern Sierra is changing. New challenges and opportunities mean our work must be more strategic, informed, and collaborative than ever before.

That is why we have developed a ten-year Strategic Conservation Plan. It is our roadmap that will direct our work to protect the lands, waters, and wildlife that define the Eastern Sierra. Because we need them to thrive in 2035–and beyond.

With this plan, we will:

  • Execute a plan to act on opportunities for lasting conservation in Priority Investment Areas
  • Work directly with landowners, Tribal partners, and more to establish voluntary, flexible conservation agreements
  • Implement long-term stewardship, in partnership, through technical assistance, monitoring, and on-the-ground management

Your gift today is a vital step on this ten-year journey. Protect the Eastern Sierra you love and consider making your gift by December 31.

With gratitude, warm wishes for the holiday season–and the new year ahead!

eslt
