In honor of the upcoming annual Fourth of July Parade, Mammoth Lakes Tourism is thrilled to announce the release of a special edition sticker designed by local freeskier, artist, and filmmaker Chris Benchetler. Chris and his wife, pro snowboarder, breast cancer survivor and activist Kimmy Fasani are the grand marshals of the 2025 parade. This exclusive sticker captures the essence of Mammoth Lakes’ natural beauty and artistic spirit, aligning with this year’s parade theme, “Where Creativity Runs Wild.” This sticker will be distributed one time only—during this year’s parade.

YOU CAN HELP PREVENT WILDFIRES

Inyo National Forest Stage 1 Fire Restrictions are now in effect! That means campfires are ONLY allowed in designated developed campgrounds. NO fires at dispersed sites. And no personal fireworks—leave it to the professionals putting on the incredible show at Crowley Lake for your July 4th celebrations. Watch Camp Like a Pro’s latest video on campfire safety and remember that pros prepare by:

  • Checking fire restrictions
  • Getting a California campfire permit
  • Watching for red flag warning (high winds + dry air)
  • Having a shovel and bucket of water to drown, stir and feel the fire
  • Never abandoning a campfire
  • Leaving it better than you found it …and knowing all the other tips to stay safe

Let’s #IgniteAdventure, not wildfires, when camping on public lands. Help us share this video and information out to keep Mammoth Lakes unreal.
