State Route 168 E Reopens Between Big Pine and Oasis

State Route 168 E Reopens
INYO AND MONO COUNTIES – Caltrans reopened State Route 168 E at 3:00 pm today in both directions between Death Valley Road east of Big Pine and State Route 266 near the Nevada State Line. The highway closed on February 25 due to strong winter storms and heavy snowfall. Caltrans maintenance crews have been working to reopen the highway, which has seen additional snowfall and flooding since it first closed.
