Southern Inyo Hospital Health and Community Fair
The Southern Inyo Healthcare District (SIHD) wants to help equip residents to take charge of their own health. The Inaugural Health and Community Fair, scheduled for May 20th, is one of several planned events and opportunities to help build a stronger community through good health.
The SIHD Health and Community Fair consists of a wide range of Southern Inyo Hospital, Inyo County, State of California, and US Government agencies and numerous non-profit groups coming together in one place to educate, inform, and entertain the local community about groups and services that are available to help improve their health and well-being.
There will be health stations explaining and demonstrating various services available at Southern Inyo Hospital, free blood pressure and glucose level testing, music by local favorites “Sandy and the High Country”, bounce houses for the kids, food trucks, raffles and too much more to be listed.
The Southern Inyo Hospital Health and Community Fair is taking place on Saturday, May 20th and begins at 10:00 in the morning and concludes at 2:00 in the afternoon, on the front lawn of the Southern Inyo Hospital, 510 E Locust Street in Lone Pine. A healthy, educational, and fun time is to be had by all.
