Please Join Us! Resistance “Funraising” Party on Saturday, October 11
We are having a party, please join us! For the first time ever since we were founded in 2017, INYO350 is having a fundraising party. There’ll be live music, great food, and lots of good company to enjoy. The event is free to attend. Plus, you can donate to win cool locally-made food, art, pottery, and crafts during the evening’s auctions.
This event will help foster hope and community, help INYO350 cover the many costs of the big, upcoming NO KINGS: Fighting Dictatorship Together rally and march (see below), AND fund our ongoing local resistance fight! Here are the details:

March and Rally at NO KINGS 2.0: Fighting Dictatorship Together on October 18!
In June, we did what many would claim was impossible! We peacefully mobilized 840 local people in Bishop to march for freedom, justice, and democracy!
Now, building on that momentum, INYO350 is working with local activists in Inyo County and Coalition Mammoth to hold three “NO KINGS 2.0” events in Inyo and Mono Counties, in Lone Pine, Bishop, and Mammoth.
In Bishop, the “NO KINGS 2.0: Fighting Dictatorship Together” will start at the Bishop City Park at noon. Nationally-known speaker and podcaster Dan Pfeiffer of Pod Save America will speak, as will key local folks, followed by a march along Main Street ending by 2:00 PM. Eastern Sierra resident and event volunteer leader Karyle Tong, invites you to, “Bring your voices! Carry your Signs! Show up for freedom and democracy!” Can you volunteer to help on the 18th? Please do! Contact Nancy Upham at [email protected] or (760) 937 8081.
In Lone Pine, community members will gather along Highway 395 at Spainhower Park starting at 10:00 AM and ending at 1:00 PM. “In Southern Inyo County, we’re doing our part to keep free speech alive and lively. Democracy at its best is an action verb, so join us. Sharpen your wit, craft an idea, and lift up your sign. We’ll see you there,” said Karen Riggs, co-organizer with Drew Wickman, Mary Roper, Becky Taylor, and Jenna Horiuchi.
For the Mammoth rally, Emily Markstein, co-founder of Coalition Mammoth, has announced that they will hold a NO KINGS 2.0 protest from 4:00-6:00 PM and a Zine launch party directly after. Coalition Mammoth is asking folks to meet on the sidewalk outside of Stellar Brew. Sign-making materials and community resources will be provided. As Emily explains, “Coalition Mammoth was founded to build community and raise our voices against the great injustices being enacted by the current administration. As MLK said, ‘Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.’ This is our opportunity to be heard.”
