NIHD Modular removal will limit parking on Thursday

Northern Inyo Healthcare District will remove a large modular building from the west side of its campus on Thursday, August 31. The move requires limiting parking along Pioneer Lane and in portions of the Administration parking lot.

Those with appointments at the Rural Health Clinic and the Rural Health Women’s Clinic are asked to park in the northwest portion of the Administration parking lot.  NIHD employees who normally use the Administration lot are asked to utilize the Church of the Nazarene parking lot across West Line Street.

NIHD Facilities will re-open to normal parking conditions just as soon as possible. NIHD apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause its patients. If you need assistance reaching your appointment destination, please call:

  • The Rural Health Clinic, (760) 873-2849,
  • Rural Health Women’s Clinic, (760) 873-2602, or,
  • NIHD Administration, (760) 873-2838

The removal of this building is just one of the efforts NIHD is undergoing as part of a financial restructuring aimed at right-sizing the district for long-term sustainability.
