Hospital Open During Pioneer Lane Road Closure

Northern Inyo Hospital will remain open during Pioneer Lane’s scheduled overnight road repair closure. The asphalt repairs start on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 7 p.m. with the road expected to reopen Friday, Aug. 7 at 6 a.m.

Pioneer is the primary access road to the Northern Inyo Healthcare District campus in Bishop, which includes Northern Inyo Hospital.

Northern Inyo Hospital and all hospital services will remain open throughout the closure. Patients and visitors should enter the hospital campus from West Line Street near the two-story hospital building.

The West Line Street entrance will provide access to all hospital services, including the Emergency Department.

Drivers traveling near the Northern Inyo Healthcare District campus are encouraged to slow down, use caution and watch for construction crews and temporary traffic-control signs.

Northern Inyo Healthcare District thanks the community for its patience and understanding while the asphalt repairs are completed.
