MOUNTAIN LIVING TOGETHER! has TWO upcoming events:
Tuesday, May 10th – Mountain Living Together: Co-creating alpine-urban resilience in the Eastern Sierra and beyond. This is a lecture within the 2022 SNARL Spring Seminar Series that will be presented on Zoom. Zoom link: https://ucsb.zoom.us/j/
Interesting in engaging more? Please join us for the follow-up, in-person Resilient Mountain Futures Workshop on May 18th at the SNARL Page Center, 6:30-8:00pm.
Learn how other mountain communities around the world are addressing climate change, building resilience, and how this can inspire creative approaches for the Eastern Sierra. Come share your stories, concerns, and ideas at this casual and interactive workshop where we will practice “visual dialogues” – an easy, accessible mapping technique to exchange ideas and better understand our roles and actions within the broader complex systems we inhabit. Free of charge and open to all. You are welcome to stay the whole time or just drop by!
Please sign up in advance and fill out the UC Santa Barbara waiver:
