Wild Week of Weather
Our weather has been all over the map this week with a few days of gorgeous clear skies, one day of torrential rain and intense thunderstorms, and off and on smoke from the Garnet Fire located on the other side of the Sierra. The good news is that our dirt is as good as it gets. The bad news is that with that amount of rain, we’re seeing some erosion out in the park. Ride, re-ride, freeride is a good mantra whenever you’re shredding, we’d reiterate it with these conditions.
Our final VCDH race of the season is next Friday (course is TBD, but we’re leaning towards Velocity due to construction at the top of the mountain). As we’ve said, this has been an incredible series, you don’t want to miss it.
Please note that Seven Bridges is closed due to a splicing of the lift cable on Chair 21, Uptown will be rerouted onto Downtown (2-way traffic for a pinch), then on the road up to Main Lodge. Richter will be closed intermittently for construction.
