More Moisture

Another round of monsoonal moisture made its way into the Eastern Sierra this week dropping rain on our already primo dirt surface. With the additional grip riders have been beyond hyped on how well most everything has been riding.

Trail crew and bike patrol have had their hands full the last two weeks repairing damage from previous rain events but they bring good news! The additional moisture has made the dirt more manageable allowing both teams to really dial in the final touches of their work. DC-10 was an absolute mess following the last storm but after a few days of digging and shaping it is now in the best shape it’s been in years. The trail descends a cool spine next to lower Dry Creek then wiggles its way through a rowdy rock garden before entering the middle jump section. Large berms, step downs and perfect tabletops are what you’ll be met with before entering the lower section and some awesome single-track for the last mile.

Other trails receiving love were Paper Route, Juniper (new ladder), Velocity, Bullet, Chain Smoke, Uptown, Twilight Zone and Brake Through. With rain in the forecast today conditions could be all time tomorrow, check the webcams and trail status page for current conditions.
