EASTWARD EXPANSION FROM MCCOY
Welcome to your Thursday afternoon Bike Report. We are moving our send day in order to provide you with as much up-to-the-minute information regarding operations as possible.
Trail crew has worked their way eastward from mid-mountain and will be opening the trails Brake Through, Flow, and Boomerang on Friday, August 11. The face of Chair 5 still has snow on it so these trails will be accessible via Burma Road which leads to the Brake Through connector. Boomerang is one of the newer trails in the Bike Park and is rapidly becoming a favorite of all who ride it. Flowy berms, manmade rock gardens, and just enough bumps and jumps to keep a big smile on your face. Catch the Advanced rated trail off of Brake Through a few hundred yards before Flow.
Please note: We will be closing Shotgun, Smooth Operator, and Big Ring on weekdays starting Monday, August 14. These closures will be in place for everyone’s safety as large rock trucks will be hauling dirt in the area for a yet to be determined time. These are hard closures so anyone caught breaking them will lose their pass. These trails will reopen on weekends.
