FULL TWILIGHT ZONE + CHAIN SMOKE
We’ve opened a dozen trails in the last week including intermediate favorites like Midtown and Off the Top, advanced classics like White Bark and Ricochet, and expert technical trails like Shock Treatment and all of Twilight Zone. Following two weeks of rain showers, it’s THE time to be riding up here.
Twilight Zone features one of the more unique sections of trail in North America. The “Concrete Jungle” is a ¼ mile of paver berms, jumps, and step downs. Following that section is a series of jumps and berms leading into “The Deep End,” a massive above grade berm built out of composite wood. If you’re an expert rider, this is not to be missed. While it’s intimidating to ride for the first time it really is a breeze, just let the momentum carry you and enjoy the ride.
Chain Smoke opens tomorrow, and just a heads up, it’s gnarly. Featuring some of the more technical rock gardens and drops in the park it’s a pro-rated trail not to be taken lightly. If vertical rock faces and complex rock configurations are your thing, then this is the trail for you.
