Summer Camps on Sale – OPEN Registration Underway!
Summer camp and swim lesson registration is underway and we have a number of camps with availability – please check out the camp flyers on the website for more detailed itineraries and register online. For registration, program and camp ages align with the grade children are currently enrolled in for the 2022/2023 school year. As always, contact the Parks and Recreation team at (760) 965-3690 for additional information or assistance.
Summer Camps with availability:
- 3rd-5th Grade Climbing Camp: June 19-23
- 3rd-5th Grade School’s Out Overnight: June 15-16
- 3rd-5th Grade Camp Mammoth: August 14-18
- 3rd-5th Gymnastics: July 31-August 3
- 4-year-old Skateboard Camp: July 5-7
- 6th-8th Grade Skateboard Camp: August 9-11
- 6th-8th Grade Aquatics Camp: July 24-28
- Counselor in Training: June 26-30
- Youth Theatre (all ages): July 31-August 12

Parks and Recreation is currently recruiting for awesome people to join our team: Recreation Instructor – Mountain Bike or Skateboard, Recreation Leader I – Summer Counselor, Recreation Coordinator – Adult Leagues, Umpire – Softball Sports Official, Assistant Site Coordinator – Whitmore Pool, Recreation Facilities Staff 1 – Lifeguard, Recreation Instructor – Tennis/swimming/mountain biking and skateboarding, Recreation Leader II – Summer Camps, and Recreation Intern – Summer Camps. To be considered for an open recruitment, all applicants must submit an online application.
Mammoth/June Mountain Update
Canyon Lodge and Eagle Lodge are open daily until April 16, then shift to Friday-Sunday for the remainder of April. Main Lodge will be open daily through at least the end of July. June Mountain will open on April 22 and 23 for one last weekend of the season!
Planned lift operations, subject to change:
- Monday-Thursday (April 17-20)
- Chairs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 23 and Panorama Gondola 1 & 2
- Friday-Sunday (April 21-23 & 28-30)
- Everything above plus Village Gondola, Chairs 8, 9 and 15

- April 17 – Far West Spring Downhills
- April 21 – Far West U14 Speed Camp
