Mammoth Huskies Boys Basketball Season Begins
Mammoth High School Boys Basketball Kicked off our 2022-23 season this past week with a solid road win on Wednesday 11/30 at Trona 56-13!! All 10 Varsity Players scored in the game but the Huskies were lead by Juniors – Tyler Jones with 14points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 Steals; Junior Matt Petroni added 11 points, 7 Rebounds, 3 Steals and Senior Sam Boyer added 9 Points, 7 Rebounds, 2 Steals and 2 Blocks.
On Friday 12/2 The Huskies had a home game versus Lake Arrowhead Christian and came out with a 59-25 win for the Huskies. The Huskies had 4 starters in double figures, lead by Junior Matt Petroni with 14 Points, 8 Rebounds and 6 Assists, Junior Forest Daniels with 12 Points, 3 Assists and 4 Steals, Junior Tyler Jones with 11 Points, 10 Rebounds, 6 Assists and 5 Steals and Senior Sam Boyer with 11 Points, 3 Rebounds.
The Mammoth Huskies will play a home game versus Trona on Tuesday 12/6 tip, off at 5:30 and then will travel to Fresno for a three day tournament at Parlier High School.
Mammoth JV Boys will kick off the season this Wednesday at home versus Big Pine and then will travel to play Big Pine on Friday 12/10.
