Mammoth Lakes, CA—The Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce’s Mammoth Community  Foundation (MCF), in partnership with the Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluesapalooza (MFBB)  and Omega Events, is proud to announce the distribution of $38,636.50 to local non-profit  organizations. This initiative, launched through MCF’s strategic alliance with the festival, allows  participating non-profits to generate revenue by providing essential services like beverage  pouring, parking management, and crowd control at the event.

This year, 20 non-profits contributed a total of 950 volunteer hours. To celebrate their  hard work, MCF organized a check presentation event on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at  Mammoth Coffee Roasting Co. Representatives from nearly all participating organizations  attended, enjoying a morning of coffee, donuts, and shared appreciation for the role they  play in the Eastern Sierra community.

“Our non-profits are essential supporters of the Chamber, and this partnership allows us to give  back to them”, explained Brianna Goico, President & CEO of MLCC and Executive Director of MCF. “The work they do contributes to our thriving community.”

“We’re thankful for the non-profits’ support”, added Rich Sherman, producer of Mammoth  Bluesapalooza. “This partnership not only helps us run a successful event but also ensures that the  funds go directly back to the community, providing meaningful opportunities for local non-profits.  We are proud to have donated over $180,000 to local non-profit groups in the last four years.”

The 2024 participating non-profits include: Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra, Eastside Student Center,  Eastern Sierra Land Trust, Eastern Sierra Nordic Ski Association, High Sierra Energy Foundation,  Los Angeles American Alpine Club, Lions Club, Long Valley Firefighter Association, Mammoth Lakes  Contractors Association, Mammoth Lakes Football Club (Boys), Mammoth Lakes Football Club  (Girls), Mammoth Lakes Women’s Club, MUSD Boosters Baseball, MHS Boosters Volleyball,  MHS Class Boosters 2028, MHS Soccer, Mono Arts Council, MUSD Boosters Boys & Girls Basketball,  Rotary Club of Mammoth Lakes, and Valentine Reserve.

Moving forward, MCF and MFBB are excited to continue fostering these relationships and  supporting community organizations in the Town of Mammoth Lakes.
