Make an Impact

Join DVNHA’s Board of Directors

We are inviting passionate supporters to join our Board of Directors and play a meaningful role in shaping the future of DVNHA.

Serving on the Board is more than a volunteer role—it is a chance to help protect, support, and celebrate the remarkable landscapes of Death Valley, Ash Meadows, and the surrounding region. If these places matter to you, Board service offers a powerful way to give back and help ensure that DVNHA’s mission continues to thrive for future generations.

Board service requires only a modest annual time commitment, along with active membership in DVNHA or a willingness to become a member. In addition to occasional video or phone meetings throughout the year, the Board gathers in person just 2–3 times annually in Death Valley, Ash Meadows, or nearby—making this a meaningful and manageable way to contribute to the places you care about.

We welcome anyone who cares deeply about this extraordinary landscape, and we are especially eager to hear from members with experience in accounting, law, retail, or other expertise that can help strengthen our organization.

If you have ever wanted to make a deeper, more meaningful impact on the places you love in a more lasting way, this is a wonderful opportunity to do so. By serving on the Board, you can help guide and sustain DVNHA’s mission while becoming part of a dedicated community working to protect and share these special places.

For more information, review our Board Member Job Description at Board Members – Death Valley Natural History Association or email [email protected].

To express your interest, email [email protected] directly.

Thank you,

David Blacker, DVNHA Executive Director
