Introducing a technologically innovative new center for digital learning and workforce development

Lone Pine, Ca – September 28th, 2023 – Come check out the new virtual computer lab for the Lone Pine Paiute-Shoshone community! See Intel’s new Desktop Virtualization technology in person and join members of the community, tech industry partners, and “Kumazaa Novi” Indian Tacos for lunch.

The pubic is invited to join us at an open house event Saturday, October 7th from 12 to 2pm. The Lone Pine Paiute Shoshone Tribe is the proud host of a new computer lab to provide digital literacy and workforce development trainings to the LPPSR Tribal community. This lab is one of the first of its kind in the Western Hemisphere, and is part of an innovative pilot project from Intel and partners at the N50 project. Combined with efforts from Nü Communications Alliance, the Barbara Bush Foundation and Dell, this computer lab will be providing digital access to learning resources from basic digital literacy to advanced Certification and AI development programs.
