Happy Summer!
Recent rainfall and cooling temperatures are reminding us that Fall is one month away! Water is in abundance everywhere in Mono County. The hillsides are lush and green, granite peaks are dotted with snow, the lakes full, and waterfalls intense. This is a recipe for an exceptional backdrop for you to get out and enjoy the last days of summer.
There is still time to join us for summer and fall fun like: fishing, stargazing, horseback riding, golfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, hiking, boating, camping, waterfall chasing, and soon fall color viewing.

There are plenty of travel options for getting to Mono County. Tioga pass is the highest pass accessible by car in Yosemite and offers nonstop options for photographers. Other scenic ways to get here are Sonora Pass, Monitor Pass, Highway 395, and flights to and from Bishop, CA.
