Don’t forget! Verizon Communication owned the telecom for Inyo County, before developing their wireless business. To bring wire and DSL to the Eastern Sierra, they bundled the entire network together, then sold the telecom business to Frontier Communications, but kept the wireless business. So, when Verizon Wireless goes down, so does Frontier DSL, because it is all one bundle.
