Inyo Council for the Arts Ukelele Workshop
Learn how to play the Ukelele and music fundamentals with local musician Greg Smith!
Greg Smith started playing guitar at fifteen, being entranced by the genius of Segovia, Julian Bream and Chet Atkins. This fingerstyle guitar background led straight into the British folk revival (Nic Jones, Richard Thompson, Martin Simpson, Incredible String Band and many others) and a quartet which, strangely, played mainly American folk music!
For six sessions (to begin with) Greg will be teaching the fundamentals of music through sharing melodies and songs. While we have instruments to share, it would be helpful if you bring your own.
