Investigators working around the clock following up on leads
The Inyo County Sheriff’s Office continues to work tirelessly on the investigation into the shooting death of Bishop resident David Miller, and once again urges anyone with any information about the incident to report what they know to investigators.
Miller, 57, was shot near his Shepherd Lane residence on February 12 and pronounced deceased on scene. Investigators have since received numerous tips from the public and been working consistently to follow up on substantial leads.
Although limited information has been released, the Sheriff’s Office would like to assure the public that the investigation is being handled with considerable attention and thoroughness. Withholding the release of information is done only to protect and preserve the integrity of the case.
The Inyo County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public for its ongoing support and ask anyone with information to contact Investigator Brian Howard at (760) 878-0383 option 4.
