In Memoriam: Sandy Miners
In loving memory of Sandy Miners who passed away on June 30, 2023 at the Bishop Care Center. At the age of 18 Sandy was living in Los Angeles where she met the love of her life Tom Miners. Together they raised 5 children; Tommy, Randy, Tim, Karen and Bruce. Tom and Sandy enjoyed 55 years of marriage. They received more blessings from God. 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Sandy had 5 siblings; Ginny, George, Joyce, Norma and Dave, with many numerous nieces and nephews. Sandy was a devoted mother attending all her children’s sporting events with a cow bell in hand rooting them on!
Sandy was active in Sweet Adalines Bishop and Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho chapters for many years, where Sandy and Tom traveled to many locations such as Australia, Germany, England, Ireland and the Mormon Temple in Utah to name a few. Sandy had an entire room dedicated to her crafts such as sewing, quilting, etc. The whole family loved to receive her homemade gifts.
Sandy is proceeded in death by Tom- Husband, Tommy- Son, Ginny- Sister, Norma- Sister.
Sandy will be laid to rest beside her husband Tom and son Tommy on July 8th, 2023 at 10:00am at Big Pine Cemetery.
