Michael O. Vasquez, 66 of Lone Pine CA. died July 18, 2023.
He was born November 23, 1956, to Sammy & Gloria Vasquez
Michael is survived by Becky his loving and dedicated wife of 27 years.
Also surviving Michael is his son Michael Vasquez (Kaylee), daughters Veronica Gutierrez (Joe),
Sheena Streeter (Mitchell); Stepdaughters, Sarah Wilson, Staci Cole (Aaron) and Shannon Jenkins (Jack);
Stepsons Jesse Castro and Manuel Mendoza:
Parents Arnold & Gloria Ruiz, Brother Guy Vasquez and Sister Angel Lee:
Also, Numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews
Michael’s father Sammy Vasquez preceded him in death.
Michael was a long-time resident of Lone Pine. He was employed at Lone Pine Unified School District as a custodian for 32 years, until his retirement.
Michael loved living in the Owens Valley. He enjoyed fishing and loved rewatching Sons of Anarchy over and over, he knew every episode. He enjoyed playing games like Mexican dominoes and just hanging out with the family; he especially enjoyed having his grandchildren around. He had a thing for the didgeridoo and loved to show it off. Michael loved playing sports. He played adult fast pitch & slow-pitch until 2002.
Celebration of Life to be held on August 5, 2023 at Mt. Whitney Golf Club at 3pm
