Since December 23rd Mammoth Lakes has received plenty of fresh snow at Mammoth Mountain—totaling over 6 FEET AND even more snow is on the way! The current forecast is showing another potential dump of up to 5 FEET on Mammoth Mountain by the end of this weekend. With Mother Nature delivering the goods, Mammoth Lakes is ready for a lively winter season. Start your year off right with a trip to the Eastern Sierra for all your favorite snow-filled activities.
As you prepare your visit, please remember to plan ahead, drive carefully, and allow extra travel time during winter storms. Big snowstorms bring big stoke to our mountain community. Alongside that excitement is the hard work of locals who keep Mammoth Lakes and all of its amazing winter recreation running smoothly, even in challenging conditions.
