You may have heard of the Flash Foxy Climbing Festival in Bishop, an annual spring event for women and genderqueer climbers, but this fall the Flash Foxy Trad Fest is moving to Mammoth Lakes the weekend of September 12th to 14th – and it’s gonna be radder than ever!! You can expect the same great Flash Foxy vibes as their previous events, but they’re taking it all to the next level (of elevation). Think climbing clinics, discussion groups, DIY mending, a fab dance party, meetups, film screenings, stewardship, and sweet lake hangs. Remember, you DON’T have to be a trad climber to come to Trad Fest! There’s fantastic bouldering, sport climbing, hiking, fishing, and more at your fingertips too.
While most of Flash Foxy programing is reserved for festival participants, the Saturday Foxy Fair at Mammoth Creek Park, Sunday Stewardship Project with Friends of the Inyo, and Sunday Evening Community Slideshow with Patagonia athlete Lor Sabourin will all be FREE and open to the public!
