Fifth Wheel Fire Contained in Big Pine Thursday Night

Big Pine Fire responded to a fully involved fifth wheel on fire last night around 8:30. Quick work and knock down kept the fire contained to the camper and about 50×50 grass area. The owner of the camp trailer was not inside and was located later safe. Firefighters stayed on scene until about 12:00. Thank you to Inyo County Sheriff and California Highway Patrol for their assistance.
